The Power of the Arts
I just had thought recently about the power of the arts. And when I think about the Arts are a very powerful thing. Art, whether it be Music, Dancing, Painting, Drawing, Writing, Filmmaking or etc, evokes an emotional response from us. Whether its positive or negative the Arts makes us feel. When you hear your favorite song and makes you just want to dance or sing at the top of your lungs it evokes an emotional response from you and sometimes it could be very overwhelming. To say that I’m an artist, in the form of filmmaking, is very humbling feeling. To say what I create evokes an emotional response or feeling out of someone is truly remarkable. I’m proud to be an artist, I’m proud to create things that makes you feel, laugh, cry, think or whatever. It’s truly an honor and a blessing to be an artist. I thank God for the very gifts he gave me and I will use them responsibly :)
